From 1988 to 2010, I held various research positions in Senegal, Mali, Kenya, and South Africa. I have a long experience in longitudinal analysis, using both retrospective surveys and Health Demographic Surveillance Sites data. My research focuses on urban and demographic transitions, urban integration, young adulthood and the relationship between migration and health in sub-Saharan Africa, France and Belgium.
