I have worked with migration and health for over 2 decades- starting with various NGOs such as MSF and MDM in the field, then to Center for Disease Control in the international emergency refugee health branch, then UNHCR (for 14 years where I was Chief of the Health Section and then Deputy Director of the Division of Porgramme Management and Support). Currently I am a Professor at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and the Director of the Center for Humanitarian Health.
