Joseph Naquentera holds an MSc in Economics from HSE University, Moscow, Russia, and a Bsc from the University for Development Studies, Ghana. He is an emerging migration researcher, reintegration advocate, and research lead of the NeverLate Network Africa. He focuses on and advocates for an effective integration and reintegration of migrants, returnees, and refugees in Africa through research and community participation. He has participated and presented in major migration conferences, including the Workshop on Free Movement in West Africa, University of Ghana January 2026. Our Common Home conference, Italy, Rome, October 2025. German Network for Forced Migration Studies Conference (Bonn, Germany 2024), the Governing African Borders, Security and Migration Conference (Accra, Ghana 2024) etc. He is currently preparing to commence his PhD studies in Forced displacement and migration where he intends to further develop his research on migration governance and re-integration.
