Daniel Granada holds a doctorate in Ethnology from the University of Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense and a PhD in History from the University of Essex (2013). He has a degree in Social Sciences and a Master's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (IFCS / PPGAS), a Master's degree in Latin American Studies from IHEAL (Institute of Higher Studies of Latin America, University of Paris III Sorbonne Nouvelle), and is a professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil), where he teaches courses in anthropology, sociology, anthropology and sociology of health and illness, and contemporary debates. He researches topics related to migratory processes, Human Rights, transnationalization, human mobility, coloniality of power, artificial intelligence, and health and illness processes.
