Daniel Granada

Daniel Granada holds a doctorate in Ethnology from the University of Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense and a PhD in History from the University of Essex (2013). He has a degree in Social Sciences and a Master's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (IFCS / PPGAS), a Master's degree in Latin American Societies Studies from IHEAL (Institute of Higher Studies of Latin America, University of Paris III Sorbonne Nouvelle), and a Post-doctorate from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto and the Postgraduate Program in Social Anthropology at UFRGS (2023). He is currently a professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil), where he teaches courses in anthropology, sociology, anthropology and sociology of health and illness, and contemporary debates. He researches migratory processes, Human Rights, transnationalization, human mobility, and health and illness processes. She is currently researching the relationships between health and migration, the effects of Covid-19 on migrant populations in Brazil, and the impacts on healthcare professionals.
